When contemporary art comes to Paris: Art Basel 2025

Every fall, Paris transforms into a vast creative playground. This year, from October 22 to 26, 2025, Art Basel Paris (formerly FIAC) will take over the Grand Palais, inviting more than 195 galleries and some 40 countries to exhibit their vision of the world.

Monumental installations, conceptual works, sculptures, and performances will take over the city: from the Tuileries Gardens to Avenue Winston Churchill, via the Institut de France and the Hôtel de la Marine.

In the Trocadéro district, at the Café de l’Homme, we invite you to experience this moment from a sensory perspective, exploring the intersection between visual art, urban space, and moments of sharing.

The art of entertaining, the art of savoring

Facing the Eiffel tower, visitors to Art Basel can extend their artistic experience with lunch, cocktails at sunset, or dinner with contemporary accents in a listed setting steeped in history. In this historic location, between museum architecture and iconic views of the Eiffel tower, the senses engage and linger.

A place where art is also expressed at the table

Located in the heart of the Musée de l’Homme, an iconic institution of French cultural heritage, Café de l’Homme embodies a constant dialogue between art, history, and gastronomy.

Here, every detail, from the architecture designed by Gilles & Boissier to the clean lines of the plates, reflects the same aesthetic requirement: that of emotion.

The Café de l’Homme‘s autumn menu features creations designed as visual compositions that reveal an artistic sensibility made up of contrasts and balance.
Each dish by Chef Wilfried Graux and dessert by pastry chef Tanguy Tribet becomes a work of art in its own right, where textures and colors interact like brushstrokes.
